Collection: Jewelry Collection

Nerissa Tower grew up hanging out in the Vermont Copper workshop with her dad. A talented craftsman and metal artist, he was always playing with different creative ideas. She remembers him making a copper crown for her when she was little that she loved. His passion for making useful products with his hands inspired her to begin making jewelry, something her father had debated doing himself for a long time.

Together they started the process of creating simple copper jewelry that is both fun and unique. One way she creates her copper earrings is to cut them from upcycled sheets of copper that had been previously experimented with for different colors and finishes. She finds the beautiful parts and gives the copper a new life as jewelry. The other way is to cut the earrings out of a regular sheet of copper and add the patina afterwards. For either method, the patina and finish take about 5 days to complete, so its a long process!

As each one is handcrafted, not one pair of earrings is going to look like the rest - they all have their own unique style. Nerissa describes her earrings as having a small town spirit with a simple creativity that makes them stand out. Stay tuned as she expands her line this year!
