Collection: Fort Ethan Allen Collection
Repurposed copper from Fort Ethan Allen in Colchester, VT. Fort Ethan Allen was established in 1892 (building started in 1894) and played a significant role in America's northern defenses. It served as an outpost near the Canadian border, as a quick response to any potential threats. This fort has a combined Victorian style as well as functional military design.
After being decommissioned in 1944 and again in the 1990s, Fort Ethan Allen has since been transformed into apartments, community centers, commercial buildings, educational institutions, and more. Our Fort Ethan Allen Collection showcases trays, earrings, and art made from the old roofs of the cavalry buildings. Enjoy our adaptive reuse of copper that helps keep The Fort's enduring legacy!
