This piece was purposefully named The Cavalry because the copper was reused from the roofs of the Fort Ethan Allen Cavalry buildings when it required repair after 100-plus years of wear and tear. Recycling the copper into art helps honor Vermont's history and helps put new purpose into aged material. This piece is 32x26 inches of varying triangle and square copper patches with a plain copper backing. A clear coat covers the front of it to protect the material and the patina. Enjoy our recreation of Vermont History and beautiful art!
